Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set out how you can buy from the Dancing Forest online shop at dancing-forest.com, and your rights and ours when you do. They apply to consumers and to business customers; where the rules differ, we say so. Please read them before placing an order. You can save or print this page at any time.
1. Who we are
The shop is run by Dancing Forest Sp. z o.o., ul. Wolińska 4, 03-699 Warszawa, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0001108107, NIP (tax ID) 5243008085, EU VAT number PL5243008085, REGON 528743471, share capital PLN 15,000 (“we”, “us”, the “Seller”).

2. Definitions
- Consumer — a natural person buying for purposes unrelated to their business or profession.
- Sole trader with consumer rights — a natural person running a business who buys for purposes not of a professional nature for that business (as shown in particular by the business activity registered in CEIDG). Such a person has the consumer rights described in sections 8 and 9 (Article 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
- Business customer — any other buyer acting in the course of a business, including companies.
- Customer or you — any of the above.
- Product — furniture and other goods offered in the shop.
- Order — your offer to buy Products, placed through the order form in the shop.
3. Using the website
Through the website we provide, free of charge, the following electronic services: browsing the catalogue, the shopping cart, the order form, the contact form and product reviews. To use them you need a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an e-mail address. The cart and order form keep your session using necessary cookies only, as described in our Cookie Policy.
Each service lasts only while you use it: the contract for it ends when you close the page or send the form. You must not post unlawful content or anything that interferes with the website. Complaints about the electronic services can be sent to info@dancing-forest.com; we answer within 14 days.
4. Products and prices
Our furniture is made of solid oak. Grain, knots, colour and small variations in tone differ from board to board and change slightly with light and time; this is the nature of the material and not a defect. Photographs show the actual model and finish, but screens render colour differently — we send free finish samples on request.
Prices are in euro and include VAT. The price is the same in every EU country. The delivery cost is shown in the cart and on the order form before you place the order, and is listed in section 7.
Business customers registered for VAT in an EU country other than Poland can enter their VAT number on the order form. If the number is confirmed as valid in the EU VIES system, the order is invoiced without Polish VAT under the reverse-charge rule, and the net price is shown before you place the order. Business customers in Poland pay Polish VAT.
5. Placing an order and the contract
- Add the Products you want to the cart and go to checkout.
- Enter your billing and delivery details (for businesses: company name and, if you have one, VAT number) and choose the payment method.
- Check the summary — Products, total price including VAT, delivery cost — and accept these Terms.
- Confirm with the button that places the order with an obligation to pay.
Right after that we send you an e-mail confirming that we have received and accepted the order. The sales contract is concluded when you receive this e-mail. It contains the order details and a link to these Terms, and we keep a record of the contract. Until you place the order you can correct your details at any step.
We can deliver only to addresses in the European Union. For anything else, including larger or custom orders, write to us before ordering.
6. Payment
Payment is by bank transfer. After the order we send you a VAT invoice (or pro-forma invoice) by e-mail with our bank details. Please pay within 3 working days of the order; the Products are reserved for you during that time. We dispatch the order once the payment reaches our account.
If the payment does not arrive within that time, we will remind you by e-mail and, if it still does not arrive within 3 further working days, we may withdraw from the contract and cancel the order. Nothing is owed by either side in that case.
7. Delivery
We deliver by courier to the address given in the order, in all EU countries. In-stock Products are dispatched within 3 working days of receiving payment; delivery then takes 2 to 7 working days. You receive a tracking number by e-mail when the order leaves us. If a Product is shown as out of stock or made to order, ask us for the lead time before ordering.

Please check the parcel when it arrives. If it is visibly damaged, note this on the courier’s delivery document if you can, take photographs before unpacking further, and write to us the same day. Damage in transit is our responsibility: we replace or refund. For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes on delivery. For business customers, it passes when we hand the goods to the carrier; we still help with any carrier claim.
8. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer or sole trader with consumer rights you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day you (or a person you name, other than the carrier) take possession of the Product; for an order delivered in several parts, from the day you take possession of the last part.
How to withdraw. Tell us clearly — for example by e-mail to info@dancing-forest.com or by post — before the 14 days end. You may use the model form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt by e-mail without delay.
Returning the Product. Send the Product back, or hand it to a courier we arrange, within 14 days of telling us you withdraw. The direct cost of sending the Product back is yours. If you would like us to arrange the collection, we deduct its cost from the refund at our delivery rates in section 7 (for example 139 € for a table within Poland) and confirm the amount with you before booking the courier. Please pack it so that it is protected in transit, in the original packaging if you still have it.
Refund. We refund everything you paid, including the original delivery cost up to the cheapest standard delivery we offer, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We refund by bank transfer to the account you paid from, unless you agree to another method; there is no fee. We may wait with the refund until we receive the Product back or proof that you have sent it, whichever comes first.
You may handle the Product as you would in a shop to check its nature, characteristics and function. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling it beyond that — for example assembling and using a table, or damage from poor packing on the way back.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to Products made to your individual specification (for example a non-standard size or finish agreed with you). We always tell you before the order if this is the case. Choosing one of the standard lengths and finishes shown in the shop is not an individual specification.
Business customers. We offer business customers the same 14-day return on the same terms, voluntarily, for Products in unused condition.
9. If something is wrong with the Product
We are responsible for delivering Products that conform to the contract. For consumers and sole traders with consumer rights, our liability for lack of conformity follows Chapter 5a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and lasts two years from delivery: you can ask for repair or replacement and, where the law allows, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract. For business customers, statutory warranty (rękojmia) under the Polish Civil Code applies.
To make a complaint, write to info@dancing-forest.com or to our postal address, describe the problem and what you would like us to do, and add photographs if you can. We reply within 14 days. Natural features of solid oak described in section 4 are not a lack of conformity.
10. Reviews
Only customers who have bought the Product in our shop can review it: the website checks this against the order placed with the same e-mail address. We publish positive and negative reviews alike and do not pay for or edit them. We may remove a review that is unlawful, offensive, or not about the Product.
11. Personal data
We process your personal data to handle your order and as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Help with disputes
If we cannot agree, consumers can use free out-of-court help: in Poland the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) and the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa), which runs mediation and a permanent consumer arbitration court; information is at prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. Consumers in other EU countries can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net). Using these procedures is voluntary for both sides.
13. Final provisions
Contracts are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory law of that country. Disputes with business customers are settled by the court competent for our registered office.
We may change these Terms for important reasons, such as a change in the law or in how the shop works. Orders placed before a change are governed by the Terms in force when they were placed. These Terms apply from 22 September 2026.
